Web Blocking List version shows "00000000" in the OfficeScan (OSCE) 11.0 web console

OSCE 11.0 cannot update the Web Blocking List. When you open the web console and navigate to Administrator > Smart Protection Integrated Server, the component version of Web Blocking List appears as "00000000".

Upon checking the TmuDump file, the following shows:

Err 20150428 10:50:04 2584 4176 Bad API parameter in [0], destination doesn't exist: /var/tmcss/activeupdate

This issue occurs on the client with AU.ini file similar to the following:

The problem happens because the changes in the AU.ini file are not saved properly due to Blue-Screen-of-Death (BSoD) or unexpected shutdown.

To resolve the issue, replace the AU.ini file:

  1. Stop all the OfficeScan services.
  2. Back up the corrupted AU.ini file.
  3. Use the complete AU.ini file below to replace the old one.
