Reinstate the OfficeScanAuth.dat file using CertificateManager.exe to re-establish communication between the OSCE server and agents.
To restore the certificate to the new OSCE server:
- Make sure that you have these two requirements:
- Backup of the certificate of the previous OSCE server
- Password of the certificate
- Rename the certificate backup file from OfficeScanAuth.dat to OfficeScanAuth.pfx.
Use CertificateManager to restore the certificate with the following command:
As an example: CertificateManager.exe –i pwd123 c:\OfficeScanAuth.pfx
- Reboot the OSCE server.
