Reinstate the OfficeScanAuth.dat file using CertificateManager.exe to re-establish communication between the OSCE server and agents.

To restore the certificate to the new OSCE server:

  1. Make sure that you have these two requirements:
    • Backup of the certificate of the previous OSCE server
    • Password of the certificate
  2. Rename the certificate backup file from OfficeScanAuth.dat to OfficeScanAuth.pfx.
  3. Use CertificateManager to restore the certificate with the following command:

    CertificateManager.exe –i

    As an example: CertificateManager.exe –i pwd123 c:\OfficeScanAuth.pfx

  4. Reboot the OSCE server.
