Can't start Apache 2.2 Service error appears when upgrading to OfficeScan 11.0 Service Pack 1

Summary

When you try to install OfficeScan 11.0 Service Pack 1, you receive the following error:

Can't start the Apache 2.2 Service. Manually start the Apache 2.2 Service and press Retry to continue installation.

Upon checking the httpd.conf file, it shows the following:

#BEGIN PHP INSTALLER EDITS – REMOVE ONLY ON UNINSTALL
PHPIniDir "C:\Program Files (x86)Trend Micro\Officescan\PCCSRV\PLM\PHP\"
LoadModule php5_module "C:\Program Files (x86)Trend Micro\Officescan\PCCSRV\PLM\PHP\php5apache2_2.dll"
#END PHP INSTALLER EDITS - REMOVE ONLY ON UNINSTALL

Manually starting the Apache service also fails. The issue only happens in OfficeScan server using Apache.

Based on the Application Event log, the issue happens because it cannot load the php5apache2_2.dll file due to an error related to VCREDIST.

To resolve the issue, download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86).
