Unable to start the Apache 2.2 Service after installing OfficeScan (OSCE) 11.0 Service Pack 1

Summary

When you have installed OfficeScan 11.0 SP1, the Apache 2.2 Service cannot start and the OfficeScan folder increases in size.

Upon checking the TMPatch log, it shows the following:

[2015-07-27:15:03:54]-] Start the Apache2.2 Service
[2015-07-27:15:06:26] SMStartService('Apache2.2') ret equal 1053 - The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
[2015-07-27:15:06:26] The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
[2015-07-27:15:06:26] EventHandler('Service1.Error.',OldRet equal -1)
[2015-07-27:15:06:26] AskRetryCancel equal
Can't start the Apache2.2 Service.
Manually start the Apache2.2 Service and press Retry to continue installation.

The issue happens because there is no Microsoft C++ before upgrading to OSCE 11.0 SP1.

To resolve the issue, download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (VCREDIST 2008).
