Unable to generate reports on InterScan Web Security Virtual Appliance (IWSVA) 6.5

 When generating reports, the status shows "Failed" in the Generate Report column and no report is generated.

To resolve the issue:

  1. Log in to IWSVA command line and make sure that the following directories exist:

    • /etc/iscan/log/commonlog/agent
    • /iscan/log/commonlog/report
    • /usr/iwss/schedule_report/log
  2. If the above directories do not exist, create them manually.

 
The above directories exist by default. If these directories are missing, it's a sign that some files and directories are corrupted. Start backing up the configuration, and if other functionalities start to have problems, reinstall IWSVA and restore the configuration.

Refer to the Admin Guide or IWSVA Help Pages for more information on how to backup and restore IWSVA Configuration.
