Error in the TMPatch.log appears when upgrading to OfficeScan (OSCE) 11.0 Service Pack 1

To resolve the issue:

  1. Reboot the server.
  2. Stop all the Trend Micro services including the Web Server Service.
  3. Delete the contents of temp directory of the logged in user.
  4. Run the OfficeScan 11.0 Service Pack 1 installer again.

If the issue persists, run the process monitor before trying to reinstall the OSCE 11.0 SP1, and kill all the Trend Micro applications that are still running.
