  2. Stop the EAC Agent Service from the Services console.
  3. Remove the following folders:
    • folder %ProgramFiles%\Trend Micro\Endpoint Application Control Agent
    • folder %AppData%\Trend Micro\AcAgent
    • folder %ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Trend Micro Endpoint Application Control Agent
  4. Restart the machine.

For instructions on manual removal of the EAC agent, contact Technical Support.
Manually uninstalling an agent requires disabling its Agent Self-Protection feature before AC Agent registries, files, and folders can be deleted. Please contact your Trend Micro Technical Support Representative for assistance on how to remove this version’s EAC agent.
  1. Uninstall the EAC server from the Control Panel.
  2. Reboot the machine.
  3. Check the Services list on the System Configuration, and see if EAC services still exist. Open a command prompt and run the following commands:

    sc delete "TMACServerService"
    sc delete "TMACUIService"

  4. Delete all files in %ProgramFIles%\Trend Micro\Endpoint Application Control folder.
  5. Reboot the machine.

In the event of an Error Code 1603, re-installation of the EAC server program will be needed. There is a possibility of conflict from existing files that causes this problem. The steps above will guide you through un-installation. For re-installation, refer to the following steps:

  1. Reinstall the EAC 2.0 server.
  2. If the installation fails, please send the following EAC server logs for analysis:
    • %ProgramFiles%\Trend Micro\Endpoint Application Control\ACServerInstaller.log
    • %ProgramFiles%\Trend Micro\Endpoint Application Control\Trend Micro Endpoint Application Control Installer.log
    • %ProgramFiles%\Trend Micro\Endpoint Application Control\AcServer-Data
