Restoring the SecureCloud agent when the installation directory is missing

To restore the SecureCloud agent:

  1. Reinstall the SecureCloud 3.0 agent.
  2. Restart the virtual machine (VM).
  3. Run scconfig.
     
    Do not use an activation script.
    1. Open the Command Line Tool.
    2. Execute scconfig under the SecureCloud agent folder.
    3. Register the agent to the SecureCloud console.
    4. Select Upload Inventory and Get Mount list. Do not provision any devices, otherwise the data will be lost.
  4. Start the SecureCloud agent service.
  5. Approve the device key on SecureCloud console. This step may not be necessary if it is based on policy.
