A TMSM client is left uncontrolled and without a server. The following may occur:
- Reinstalled OfficeScan plug-in TMSM
- The OfficeScan server has been transferred from one server to another
When these situations happen, the TMSM client is missing from the new instance of the TMSM console and is left unmanaged.
A utility called ipxfer.exe can move one OfficeScan client from one server to another. It can also reinitiate client-server communication.
However, there is no same utility for the TMSM client. The administrator has to uninstall/reinstall the TMSM client to transfer it to another server.
