Unable to scan any mail after upgrading the Domino server in ScanMail for IBM Domino (SMID) 5.6

Summary

After upgrading the Domino server from 9.0.1 FP1 to FP3, SMID cannot scan any mail. From the console log, it shows that the AC has expired:

The ScanMail Activation Code already expired. Renew maintenance or obtain a full version Registration Key. See ScanMail help for details.

To resolve this issue, recreate the SMID AC profile:

  1. Open the SMID Configuration Database.
  2. On the left menu, click Administration > Product License.
  3. Delete the existing AC profile.
  4. Recreate the original AC profile.
