This article demonstrates how to unload a password-protected OSCE agent via the command line.
To unload the OSCE agent using the command line:
- Run cmd.exe to open the command line.
- Move to the installation folder of the OSCE agent that you want to unload.
- Run this command in cmd:
upgrade.exe unload <password>
For example, if the password is abc, the command is: upgrade.exe unload abc.
The "Successfully unloaded client" message should appear. This indicates that the OSCE agent has been unloaded without issue. To load the OSCE client again, run PccNTMon.exe under the same folder.
OSCE 11.0 supports this command since GM. However, for OSCE 10.6, Service Pack (SP) 3 Hot Fix Build 5256 must be applied to support it.
