VPN Connection issue when using Enforcement Agent in InterScan Web Security as a Server (IWSaaS)

This article uses Trend Micro’s VPN as an example and Juniper Network Connect Application.
 

When IWSaaS Proxy is enabled, after user logs in to the portal, the client’s status will be “Negotiating…” and cannot complete with “Connected".

 To resolve the VPN connection issue:

  1. Verify the VPN Gateway Address using your browser.

  2. Open IWSaaS Portal and login your credentials.
  3. Go to Administration > PAC Files.
  4. Under Service Deployment, click the PAC File Name your currently using to edit the skiphost.
  5. Add the VPN Gateway Address to skiphost and Save the settings.

    Wait a few minutes for Enforcement Agent to download and update to the new PAC file.

  6. Log on to the VPN Portal to check if it now shows the Connected status.
