This happens when keywords contain the wildcards "*":

ISVW always uses fuzzy matching by default. When any keyword contains the wildcards "*", eManager module cannot work properly.

To resolve the issue, do either of the following:

  • Option 1: Remove the existing keywords that contain the wildcards "*", and then add the keywords back without "*".
  • Option 2: If there are many keywords in the policy, please use this option to manually remove the wildcard "*" from the keywords:

    1. Stop ISVW serivce.
    2. Backup {ISVW_INSTALLATION_FOLDER}\config.xml and then open it with Notepad or other text editor such as Notepad++.
    3. Find "*" in the keywords and remove them.
    4. Save the change and then restart ISVW service.
