After logging in to the TMEAC web console, it takes a minute then it will kick the user out. To log in back again, you have to restart the Trend Micro Endpoint Application Control Server Service.
The default memory pool size that is allocated to TMEAC for dynamic data concurrency (or the ability to process multiple transaction of the database) is 384 MB no matter how many CPU Cores are installed on the Server and may not be enough in some server environment.
There are reported cases that console login is affected by this limitation. As such, it is recommended to increase the Maximum memory pool size for the TMEAC to properly handle concurrency especially if the server environment is running on more than 2 CPUs.
For more information, refer to Server Requirements and Scaling Recommendations.
To resolve the issue, increase the memory pool size of the server process manually:
- Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\Endpoint Application Control\AcServer\bin.
- Start TMACServerServicew.exe.
-
On the Java tab, change the Maximum Memory Pool from 384 MB to 1024 MB
After following these steps, the login problem should no longer occur.
