The issue is caused by a corrupted ARM server. To confirm that the ARM server is corrupted:
- Connect to the ARM shell via SSH.
- Run the following command to verify the installed ARM packages:
rpm -q -a | grep -i arm
By default, it should show the results below:arm-logos-1.0.0-1.el5
If there is one or more package(s) missing, the installation is proven to be corrupted.
arm-chpw-1.0.0-el5
arm-utils-1.0.0-0.el5
arm-release-1.0.0-el5
arm-tools-1.0.0-el5
arm-release-notes-1.0.0-el5
arm-clish-1.0.0-el5
arm-ftpput-1.0.0-el5

To resolve the issue, reinstall the server.
