Things to do before Hosted Email Security (HES) Europe, Middle-east and Africa (EMEA) Datacenter is migrated to Amazon Web Services (AWS)

This article is applicable to HES Europe, Middle-east and Africa (EMEA) customers only.

This does not apply to HES customers residing in North and South America, Asia, and Japan.

Your action is required to be able to continue receiving emails. Otherwise, it will stop eventually.

The HES service will move from Trend Micro datacenter to AWS soon. Therefore, you need to update your firewall settings to accept scanned emails from HES.

It is important that you do the following to continue to receive emails:

  • Make sure the following IPs are allowed in your firewall:

    • 52.58.63.0/25
    • 52.58.62.192/26
    • 52.48.127.192/26
    • 150.70.0.0/16
  • For SPF users, make sure you are using updated SPF record.

    To update the SPF record:

    1. Go to the DNS configuration of your domain and create a .TXT record.
    2. Insert the following SPF record syntax for HES outbound servers:

      For all regions:
      v=spf1 include:spf.hes.trendmicro.com ~all
