Users need to enable .Net Framework 3.5 manually but this will only support Apache web server, WFBS 9.0 SP1, and above. After WFBS 9.0 SP1 has been upgraded to the latest version, Security Agent has to be installed.
This will not support OS in-place upgrade such as upgrading Windows 8 to Windows 10.
To move Security Server in Windows in WFBS 9.0:
- Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.
- Tick .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) from the options.
- Click OK.
If you encounter any problem when enabling .NET Framework 3.5, you may refer to .NET Framework 3.5 installation error: 0x800F0906, 0x800F081F, 0x800F0907 Microsoft article.
- Download WFBS 9.0 SP1 full package from Trend Micro Download Center.
- Under Setup Type, select Custom Installation.
- Choose Next.
- Go to Select Components and untick Security Agent.
- Click Next.
- On Web Server, select Use Apache Web server 2.2 to host the Security Server.
- Choose Next.
- Proceed the installation process and keep other settings in default value to finish the installation.
After the installation, upgrade WFBS 9.0 SP1 to the latest build such as WFBS 9.0 SP3 for Security Agent deployment on Windows 10.
