When you upload files to SSFE 3.2, the process fails and results in "Unsuccessful" error. Both the Browser and Apache Access logs on the SSFE server show 503 error codes during the upload.
The Browser log shows the following:
https://<Server_Address>/api/v2/KYk/Licensingportal.png?_auth=,HTTPS,PUT,503,text/html,1.19 KB,328 ms,XMLHttpRequest,31422,15,219,0,0,265
Meanwhile, the Apache Access log displays the following:
<Server_IP> 279651 10.41.101.115 - Philipp.Kaeppeli [30/May/2016:12:06:03 +0000] "PUT /api/v2/KYk/Licensingportal.png?_auth= HTTP/1.0" 503 323 "https://<Server_IP>/app" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; Trident/7.0; rv:11.0) like Gecko" "-" "- -" "-"
The error may happen on new SSFE 3.2 server installations.
To prevent the issue, at least one (1) storage device should be added first to SSFE before uploading files.
- On the SSFE console, go to Administration > Storage Management. The Storage Management screen appears.
- Click Add under the Storage tab. The Add Storage screen appears.
- Select the type of storage to be added.
- Proceed to finish the procedure.
