Slow performance and error appears when accessing files on NetApp Filer in ServerProtect for Storage (SPS) 6.0

When SPS is involved in accessing the files on the NetApp Filer/ONTAP in Cluster mode, it takes a very long time and the following error shows up in the Windows Event Log:

A scan thread for a Cluster-Mode Device request stopped unexpectedly. Error code: 1385.

The error appears because ServerProtect is unable to trigger its scan thread due to a lack of permission. To resolve this, add the "Allow Log on Locally" user rights to the user that is needed to run the ServerProtect service.
