When trying to perform Restore IS Data from the ServerProtect Management Console, the following error occurs if the destination folder does not contain the necessary backup data from the Information Server (IS):
Error: Failed to complete this operation. The system cannot find the file specified.
To verify whether the ServerProtect Information Server backup data exists:
- Go to the destination folder (i.e. the folder path specified in Restore From) and back up the IS data.
- Once you back up the Information Server data via Backup IS Data on the ServerProtect Management Console, four (4) files should be backed up for the Information Server.
- Check whether the following 4 registry files are listed:
- AgentBackUp0.REG
- AgentBackUp1.REG
- AgentBackUp2.REG
- AgentBackUp3.REG
If any of the files are missing, you would encounter the error when performing Restore IS Data and you will not be able to restore IS data.
