Verifying the Connection Status of a Normal Server for ServerProtect for Storage (SPS) 6.0

It seems that your ServerProtect Normal Server is not connected to the NetApp Filer Cluster and you would like to verify its Connection Status.

You need to log on to the NetApp Filer Cluster using SSH to verify the Connection Status. Depending on the level of detail you would like to verify, you can run the commands from the examples below by logging on to the NetApp Filer Cluster CLI:

  • NetAppStorage::> vserver vscan connection-status show

    Example Return:

         Vserver            Node        Server-Count            Servers
    --------------- ------------------- ------------ -----------------------------
          svm-01      NetAppStorage-01        1              192.168.3.112
    
  • NetAppStorage::> vserver vscan scanner-pool show

    Example Return:

                  Scanner   Pool         Privileged         Scanner
      Vserver      Pool     Owner         Servers            Users        Policy
    ----------- ---------- ------- -------------------- --------------- ----------
       svm-01       SPFS   vserver     192.168.3.112        trendlab\     primary
                                                            vscanuser
    
  • NetAppStorage::> vserver vscan scanner-pool show -vserver svm-01 -scanner-pool SPFS

    Example Return:

                            Scanner Pool: SPFS

      Cluster on Which Policy Is Applied: NetAppStorage
               Scanner Pool Config Owner: vserver

  • NetAppStorage::> vserver vscan connection-status show-all -instance

    Example Return:
