To simultaneously activate both DSA and Windows Firewall:

  1. Create a ds_agent.ini file with the parameter below:

    dsp.fwdpi.disableNativeFirewall=false

  2. Move the newly created ds_agent.ini file to C:\Windows folder.
  3. Manually turn on the default Windows Native Firewall feature on the domain, private, or public network.
  4. Reboot the target physical or virtual machine (VM).

The Windows Firewall feature should now be enabled while the firewall rules should be working as expected.
