After a reboot, the Windows Native Firewall will be turned off if the Deep Security Agent (DSA) Firewall feature is enabled with more than one (1) rule applied.
In order to enable both DSA and Windows Native Firewall at the same time, there is one hidden option that you can activate.
To simultaneously activate both DSA and Windows Firewall:
- Create a ds_agent.ini file with the parameter below:
- Move the newly created ds_agent.ini file to C:\Windows folder.
- Manually turn on the default Windows Native Firewall feature on the domain, private, or public network.
- Reboot the target physical or virtual machine (VM).
The Windows Firewall feature should now be enabled while the firewall rules should be working as expected.
