"EXT4-fs error" appears on the Ubuntu console of SafeSync for Enterprise (SSFE)

When opening the Ubuntu console, the following error message shows:

EXT4-fs error

To resolve the EXT4-fs error:

  1. Stop all the services using the command below:

    /opt/SingleInstaller/nodeControl/bin/restart_all_services --all --no-start

  2. Unmount the storage device. In the command below, we used sdb as an example:

    umount /dev/sdb

  3. Run the following command to execute the file system consistency check:

    fsck -y /dev/sdb

  4. Mount the storage device.

    mount /dev/sdb

  5. Start all the services using the following command:

    /opt/SingleInstaller/nodeControl/bin/restart_all_services --all --no-stop

The EXT4-fs error will no longer appear upon logging into the SSFE Ubuntu console.
