Resolved issues regarding the OfficeScan (OSCE) XG English version repack

Summary

Two issues have been reported regarding the OfficeScan (OSCE) XG English GM version (1222). Trend Micro has updated the OSCE XG English GM package to address these issues. The updated OSCE server build is 1315.

The updated package can be downloaded from the Download Center.

 
The non-English version already built in these fixes into the corresponding GM package.

For customers who already have the OSCE XG English version installed, both 1222 and 1308, it is suggested to apply Critical Patch 1315 to fix it:

Below are the aforementioned issues encountered:

Issue 1:

The TmListen.exe service of the OfficeScan agent stops unexpectedly after the OfficeScan agent encounters a certificate mismatch.

Solution 1:

This hot fix enhances error-handling mechanism on the OfficeScan agent to prevent TmListen.exe from stopping unexpectedly until the agent can handle the certificate mismatch event.

Issue 2:

A performance enhancement introduced a negative side effect that causes a memory leak on "NTRtScan.exe".

Solution 2:

This hot fix disables the performance enhancement to resolve this issue.
