SPLX license activation fails because of the error "You have entered the current Activation Code."
This error appears because of a possible a failure during the first attempt to activate the license, which might have resulted in a corrupted/unreadable license profile. Alternatively, the license profile is not readable from the web console because of a possible permission issue.
To resolve the issue:
- Stop serverProtect by executing the following command when logged on as root:
service splx stop
- Delete the following file:
- Start ServerProtect using the following command:
service splx start
- Go the SPLX web console and enter the license.
