"The Endpoint Application Control server doesn't seem to be online" error message appears when logging into the console in Endpoint Application Control (TMEAC) 2.0

Summary

When logging into the console, the following error message appears:

The Endpoint Application Control server doesn't seem to be online 

But when you check Services, the TMEAC Server service is already started.

To resolve the issue:

  1. Stop the TMEAC Server service.
  2. Backup and delete the acserver folder, located in ..\Trend Micro\Endpoint Application Control\AcServer\webapps\.
     
    Make sure that the backup copy of the acserver folder is saved in a different directory.
  3. Start the TMEAC Server service. Verify that a new acserver folder is created.
  4. Access the console and check if the error is still there.
