When trying to add another DDAN, as a managed server, to TMCM, an error shows up saying that the server already exists.
An API key is used to differentiate the DDAN servers. If the API key of the new and the existing server is the same, the error will occur.
This may also happen if DDAN was recently removed from a cluster as all members of a cluster have the same API key, this is not automatically changed when a DDAN node is removed from the cluster.
The API key can be checked by going to Help > About in the DDAN console.
If the API key is the same, do the following:
- Go to the RDQA page, then go to System Settings.
- Under the API Key section, click Generate to generate a new API key.
- Click Save.
Once a different API key is generated, the new DDAN server can be added to TMCM.
