Increase the number of query results for each remote server in ScanMail for Exchange (SMEX)

Summary

By default, SMEX sets a maximum value of 3000 results for each remote server. You want to query more than 3000 records for each remote server when performing centralized log and quarantine queries.

To increase the number of query results for each remote server:

  1. Add the following hidden registry key:

    Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\ScanMail for Exchange\CurrentVersion
    Key: MaxRemoteQuery
    Type: DWORD

  2. Restart the ScanMail Master service after adding the registry value.
