To resolve this issue from the client side:

  1. Open the Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe) and navigate to the following registy entry:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

  2. Add the following registry values:
    Value Name: DisableNTLMPreAuth
    Data Type: REG_DWORD
    Value: 1
