"SQLITE_IOERR_WRITE(778) Disk I/O Error" appears on machine with Deep Security

Summary

Machines with Deep Security may have an issue updating from the server. This issue only happens on Linux-based machines. The following error shows:

SQLITE_IOERR_WRITE(778) Disk I/O Error

Details

The issue may be caused by insufficient permission or mount point failed.

To resolve the issue:

  1. Use "chmod 777" to change the file permission for /var/opt/ds_agent/*.
  2. Restart the Deep Security Agent.
  3. Send a heartbeat from the agent.
