Impact on service:
There will be four (4) hours downtime during the maintenance period. WFBS-SVC management console will not be available during this time.
Impact on Security Agent:
The Security Agent will be upgraded to version 6.2 and hot fixes will be deployed during the maintenance period. The Security Agent will unload and reload during the upgrade.
Agent upgrade and hot fix deployment can be controlled under Configure Policy > Agent Privileges > Agent Control > Update Privileges.
|Active Directory Integration||In addition to manual synchronization, it is now possible to automatically synchronize WFBS-SVC with Active Directory every 3, 6, 12, or 24 hours using the Trend Micro Common Active Directory Synchronization Tool included with WFBS-SVC.|
|Application Control Enhancements||In addition to manually blocking applications based on file and folder paths, it is now possible to block applications by category, vendor, or application name. WFBS-SVC leverages the Trend Micro Certified Safe Software List to provide this enhanced application control functionality.|
|Log Forwarder API||WFBS-SVC allows logs to be exported to syslog format using the Log Forwarder Application Programming Interface (API). Customers can then further analyze or archive the exported data in their syslog management tool.|
