Mail status is stuck at "Queued for sandbox analysis" after mail has been delivered in Deep Discovery Email Inspector (DDEI) 2.5

Summary
In the DDEI Console, in Log > Message Tracking Logs, DDEI does not change the "Queued for sandbox analysis" mail status after the message has already been delivered and received. The Message Tracking status remains at "Queued for sandbox analysis" and risk info status is stuck at "Pending".

This is a known issue in the  DDEI 2.5 GM release and DDEI 2.5 SP1 GM release.

  • DDEI 2.5 SP1 Critial Patch 1197 can fix this issue.
  • DDEI 2.6 does not have this issue.

Trend Micro recommends upgrading to latest version of DDEI to avoid this issue.

If you want to keep DDEI 2.5, the Administrator can apply DDEI 2.5 SP1 and Critical Patch 1197 or later patch to fix this issue.
