The Trend Micro Deep Security update package is released on a periodic basis to keep your security level up-to-date. However, the scan engine support on some versions of Deep Security will end after February 2018. As a result, some malware found in the future may not be detected.
Below are the affected products and versions:
- Deep Security
- Deep Security as a Service
|Product/Version||Platform||Deep Security Agent Build|
|Deep Security Agent 9.5||Windows||9.5.3-5500 and below|
|Linux||9.5.3-7568 and below|
|Deep Security Agent 9.6||Windows||9.6.2-7599 and below|
|Linux||9.6.2-7985 and below|
Hot fix provided by Trend Micro Support may also be affected even if the build is higher than those mentioned above. In case you are not sure if your product is affected or not, kindly file a case to Trend Micro Technical Support.
Also, note that Deep Security Virtual Appliance (DSVA) is a Red Hat 6 x64 based agent. The platform of DSVA is considered as Linux.
We recommend customers to upgrade Deep Security Agent to the latest update package.
