"Failed - Network Error" message appears when downloading an OfficeScan (OSCE) Security Agent Package from the web console of Apex Central

Summary

The OSCE Agent package can be downloaded from the Apex Central Web Console by going to Administration > Download Installer.

However, when you click on the Download Installer button, the error message “Failed – Network error” appears and the download does not proceed. This can happen to both Internet Explorer and Google Chrome.

To solve this issue, add the Apex Central™ URL (e.g. https://apex_central_fqdn:[ssl_port]) in the Trusted Sites of your Web Browser. For instructions, click the browser that you are using below:
