"Agent version not supported" error shows when activating Deep Security Agent on AIX

Summary

When you are trying to activate the Deep Security Agent on AIX platform, the following error may appear:

Agent version not supported
The Agent version currently installed on the computer (9.0.0.5485) is not supported by the Deep Security Manager. The minimum supported Agent version for the operating system on the computer is 9.1.0.0.

The error happens because the option to allow updating the supported Deep Security 8.0 and 9.0 agents is disabled.

To resolve the issue:

  1. On the Deep Security Manager console, go to Administration.
  2. Select System Settings.
  3. Under the Relays section, enable the Allow supported 8.0 and 9.0 Agents to be updated check box.
