"Unable to display data..." error appears in Summary page of OfficeScan web console

Summary

The Summary page of the OfficeScan web console shows the following error message after log in:

Unable to display data because of an unexpected error. Please try again later.

To resolve the display error, perform the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Back up the database. Go to OfficeScan console > Administration > Settings > Database Backup.
  2. Click Backup Now.
  3. Once successful, stop the OfficeScan Master Service and Internet Information Services (IIS) in the problematic OfficeScan server.
  4. Rename the PCCSRV\Web_OSCE\Web_console\HTML folder to "PCCSRV\Web_OSCE\Web_console\HTML.BAK".
  5. Copy the entire PCCSRV\Web_OSCE\Web_console\HTML folder from the working OfficeScan server to the problematic OfficeScan server.
     
    The version and build of the working server and problematic server must be the same. If you only have one server, install a new OfficeScan server in a virtual machine.
