Verifying the successful Application Inventory submission to the Endpoint Application Control (EAC) 2.0 server

Use this article to know if an EAC Agent has completed its Inventory Scan task, and successfully submitted Application Inventory to the back-end server.

There are two way to verify this. Use any of the following:

  • Option 1: Using "Agent Messages" Log type
    1. Log on to the Web Management Console.
    2. Navigate to Logs > Query.
    3. Configure the following filters:
      • Log type to query: Agent Messages
      • Period: Last 30 days (Click the dropdown menu to specify desired date range.)
      • Event ID: TMAC00150

    The filter above shows the list of EAC Agents that completed Inventory Scan activity. If you want to display successfully submitted Application Inventory to the server, use Option 2.
  • Option 2: Using "Endpoint Inventories" Log type
    1. Log on to the Web Management Console.
    2. Navigate to Logs > Query.
    3. Configure the following filters:
      • Log type to query: Endpoint Inventories
      • Period: Last 30 days (Click the dropdown menu to specify desired date range.)
      • Histogram: Inventory Received

    This filter displays submitted Application Inventory to the Backend Server. The Histogram Bar Chart gives administrators an overview of the Inventory Received dates and time.
