Using/Disabling SQL cluster/mirror during SQL migration in Apex One

This article discusses SQL cluster support and limitations in Apex One.

It is advised to disable the following features during the SQL migration procedure:

  • Apex One DB is in the availability group
  • SQL Cluster
  • Mirroring
  • DB Replication
 
It is also recommended to disable these features during an Apex One server upgrade, including applying hot fix/patch/service pack/new version.
 

Otherwise, SQL migration will fail due to a corrupted database.

Once the upgrade or migration task completed, it’s okay to enable the SQL features again.
