Summary

Trend Micro will replace the SSL/TLS certificates used by InterScan Messaging Security Suite (IMSS) and InterScan Messaging Security Virtual Appliance (IMSVA) Cloud Pre-Filter service in EMEA region. The certificate is used for both IMSVA Web Console secure communication and SMTL over TLS communication.

All supported versions of IMSS/IMSVA with Cloud Pre-Filter already have the required root CA certificate in their Trusted CA Certificates lists.

Objectives:

The current certificates are about to expire and need to be replaced.

Impact:

  • No downtime expected on Web Console access
  • No expected impact to email flow
 
If you have implemented air-tight security in your MTA to trust only the current TLS certificate, you need to update your settings to also trust the new certificate CA to avoid possible mail interruption.
