System applications are not listed under the Installed Application List

You may notice that all applications categorized as Download are properly displayed in the Installed Application List. Meanwhile, applications categorized as System are not shown. This happens in different devices with different model and operating system.

When you uninstall a device that is previously functioning and then re-install it, the same issue will occur on the applications of Trend Micro Mobile Security for Enterprise.

By default, Trend Micro Mobile Security for Enterprise does not show Android system applications because in most scenarios, such data do not provide security benefits.

If there's a need to view the system applications, do the following:

  1. On the console, navigate to Policy for Group > Application Monitor & Control Policy.
  2. Go to Android and select Enable Permitted Application Control.
  3. Click Enable System Apps Blocking.
