To increase the number of available IP ranges, the ofcserver.ini file must be edited:

  1. Stop the OfficeScan Master Service.
  2. Navigate to \Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\Private\.
  3. Copy the ofcserver.ini out onto the desktop.
  4. Rename the original ofcserver.ini to ofcserver.old (for backup purposes).
  5. Edit ofcserver.ini on the desktop with Notepad:
    1. Check if there is a section called "SMART_PROTECTION_SETTING".

      If it does not exist, add it:

      [SMART_PROTECTION_SETTING]

    2. Add the following line to this section, with the number of IP Ranges needed:

      IPRangeListMaxSize=100

    3. Save the changes.
  6. Copy the modified ofcserver.ini back into the \Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\Private\ folder.
  7. Start the OfficeScan Master Service.

Additional IP ranges should now be able to be added.
