Data Management Statement
Trend Micro contractually commits to specific processes when a customer leaves the service or the subscription expires. This includes deleting customer data from systems under our control.
If you terminate the Officescan as a service subscription or it expires, Trend Micro will keep your data in a limited-access account for 60 days (the “retention period”) to give you time to renew your subscription. During this period, Trend Micro will provide customer data eradication notifications, so you will be aware of the upcoming deletion of data.
After this 60-day retention period, Trend Micro will proceed to delete the customer data, including any cached or backup copies.
Data Residency Statement
“OfficeScan as a Service is hosted on Microsoft Azure in Azure's Central US, and West Europe data centers. Europe customers will be enrolled in the West Europe data center whereas the rest of the customer's data reside in the Central US data center. Cloud App Security environments in different regions operate independently and are not interconnected for data privacy and sovereign considerations, and your data will always stay within the initial data center and cannot be replicated by other regions.”
