The TMCM Product Directory console is showing "UI Error CCGI 400 Error", instead of displaying the managed products System Information. Generation and Viewing of any reports is also not available.
When the Application Event Logs is checked, the following can be seen:
The Application Event Error indicates that the CCGI 400 Error is caused by corrupted Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable package.
To resolve this error, do the following:
- Go to Control Panel and check if the Microsoft Visual C++Service Pack 1 Redistributable is present, then do any of the following:
- If it is present, proceed to uninstall it, then continue to Step 2.
- If it is not present, continue to Step 2.
- Download the Microsoft Visual C++Service Pack 1 Redistributable installer here.
- Once downloaded, copy the installer in C:\temp of TMCM Server.
- Run the installer as administrator, then follow the installation prompts.
- Restart the TMCM Services in the correct sequence. Do the following:
- Stop the TMCM Services is the order as shown below:
- Trend Micro Control Manager
- Trend Micro Management Infrastructure
- Trend Micro Common CGI
- Trend Micro Network Time Protocol
- World Wide Web Publishing Service
- Start the TMCM Services is the order as shown below:
- Trend Micro Management Infrastructure
- Trend Micro Common CGI
- Trend Micro Control Manager
- Trend Micro Network Time Protocol
- World Wide Web Publishing Service
- Stop the TMCM Services is the order as shown below:
Once the Microsoft Visual C++Service Pack 1 Redistributable has been reinstalled, the "UI Error CCGI 400 Error" will no longer appear.
