On December 4, 2018, Scan Engine version 11.0 was made available in the Trend Micro Download Center. This engine supports the following platforms:

Virus Scan Engine (VSAPI) 11.0

VSAPI 11.000-1006

  • AIX 32/64 bit*
  • FreeBSD 32/64 bit*
  • HP UX 10/11*
  • Linux 32/64-bit
  • Linux ARM SF/HF*
  • Linux CIFS
  • Mac 32/64-bit
  • NLM*
  • Solaris i386 64-bit*
  • Solaris SPARC*
  • Windows DLL 32/64-bit
  • Windows NTKD 32/64-bit

Advanced Threat Scan Engine (ATSE)

ATSE 11.000-1006

  • WinDLL 32/64-bit (Endpoint products) *
  • Linux 32/64-bit (Endpoint products) *
  • Solaris 64-bit (Endpoint products) *

Items with the asterisk mark (*) are not downloadable from the download center but will only be available on ActiveUpdate.

The new features and enhancements of VSAPI / ATSE 11.0 include the following:

  • Windows 10 RS5 support
  • TTF File Identification
  • ISO File Identification
  • UPX 64-bit decompression support
  • OneNote embedded file extraction support

As per Trend Micro’s usual new Scan Engine deployment, there will be a staggered release of VSAPI / ATSE 11.0 in each product’s Active Update (AU) server over the next several weeks for different product platforms and regions.  For more specific information on timelines, you may contact your authorized Trend Micro technical support representative.

Users who wish to obtain VSAPI / ATSE 11.0 now before it is deployed via AU may visit Trend Micro’s Download Center.
