DDI requires an Internet connection to query the Trend Micro cloud-based services (for example, WRS and CSSS) to obtain information about emerging threats.
After deployment into the target network segment, it is vital to check if DDI is able to connect to the Internet and backend services. To verify the network connections, here is the recommended action:
- Run the Network Services Diagnostics to test the backend service connections. If any of the backend service cannot be connected, check the service address and port, and make sure it is not blocked by the firewall.
To test the backend service connections, do the following:
On the DDI troubleshooting page, go to Logs > Network Services Diagnostics.
Click Test and wait for the connection test to be completed.The time required depends on the network environment and the number of services selected.
View the connection test result in the Result column.
