Removal of Deep Security Agent (DSA) 11.0 U14 (Build 11.0.0-946) for Windows

An issue has been found with Deep Security Agent 11.0 Update 14 (Build 11.0.0-946) that it may cause BSoD while the Anti-Malware feature is enabled. The issue was caused by a side effect of a change in Deep Security Agent 11.0 U14, therefore Deep Security 12.0 and any versions prior to U14 are not affected.

Trend Micro has removed the Deep Security Agent 11.0 U14 for Windows from the Trend Micro Software Download Center as well as Deep Security as a Service.

Deep Security Agent 11.0 U14 was released on the Trend Micro Software Download Center.

September 20, 2019

Deep Security Agent 11.0 U14 was removed from the Trend Micro Software Download Center and Deep Security as a Service. The issue may still happen even when the Anti-Malware feature is disabled.

If you have installed agent version 11.0 U14 and the Anti-Malware feature is enabled, Trend Micro recommends that you uninstall this version of the agent. A reboot is required after the uninstallation, and then replace the agent with an earlier version as soon as possible.

The root cause has been found and the issue will be fixed in the upcoming update release of Deep Security 11.0.
