Where do I find the licensing information for my IPS/TPS device?

Public

From SMS v5.0 and later:

  1. Log in to the SMS from a client.
  2. On the SMS toolbar, navigate to the Admin → Licensing tab.
  3. In the Device/Capability area, select the device you wish to view and expand the option to display the current Licensed Capabilities.


From SMS v4.6 and earlier:

  1. Log in to the SMS from a client.
  2. On the SMS toolbar, navigate to the Admin → General tab.
  3. In the TippingPoint License Package area, click on Status Details.
  4. Select the device you wish to view and click the Details button.


From the IPS LSM:

  1. Log in to the IPS from a client.
  2. Select System → License from the navigation menu.
  3. The License page displays the current licensing information for the device and its associated features.


From the TPS LSM:

  1. Log in to the TPS from a client.
  2. Select System → System, DV, Licenses from the navigation menu.


From the Threat Management Center (TMC) License Manager Application:

Note: The License Manager application can only be used to view and manage Threat Protection System (TPS) devices. (440T, 2200T, 8200TX, 8400TX)

  1. Log in to the TMC from a browser.
  2. Navigate to Select My Account → License Manger..
