Summary

The SMS/IPS system log display the following messages;

npReasonTableAddRef:Reason handle 3097 is not in use 
npReasonTableRemoveRef:Reason handle 3097 is not in use

 

Details
Public

The issue is caused by the IPS Data plane (inspection) and the IPS Control plane (management) being out of sync.

Workaround:

Option 1. Distribute a new DV and profile
Option 2. Reboot the IPS
