Thank you for subscribing to Digital Vaccine updates brought to you by Trend Micro™ TippingPoint DVLabs.

New content is now available at the Threat Management Center (TMC): https://tmc.tippingpoint.com.

Note: This is an out-of-band DV release to address a technical issue present in DV 9566 (August 17, 2021). This issue causes a Cloud One Network Security NSVA or VTPS to become inaccessible/unusable following any reboot, requiring a redeployment. TippingPoint NX/TX hardware is not affected by this issue. There is no specific configuration that initiates the issue, rather it will be present in any NSVA or VTPS that has DV 9566 installed and active. It is recommended that Cloud One Network Security customers upgrade to the latest DV as soon as possible. The regular weekly DV will be published as scheduled on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.

System Requirements
The 3.2.0 DV will run on IPS devices with TOS v3.2.0 and above,  and all TPS systems. The 4.0.0 DV will only run on the Virtual Threat Protection System (vTPS) appliance. Please note that vTPS does not currently support pre-disclosed ZDI filters.
