Learn how to enable ransomware protection in SMID.
Install SMID Hot Fix Build 4643 first before enabling this feature.

To enable ransomware protection:
- Open smconf.nsf, go to Policies and check “Enable Web Reputation”.
- Click Configure. The Web Reputation Services (WRS) configuration window will pop up.
- Under Approved URL List, tick "Enable approved URL list."
To enable Macro Scan:
- Open smconf.nsf, go to Policies then click the scan policy
- On the new pop window go to Scan Option > Security Risk Scan > Advance Optionsthen check “Macros in Microsoft Office Files”.
